All my "pets" live outdoors in and around the pond. The frogs go to the bottom of the pond during the winter. Brrr. But in the warmer months they hang out at the pond. I feed the less shy ones meal worms sometimes.
This was "Dog", a Green Frog (Lithobates clamitans). I bought him as a tadpole from Center Point Pond.
Right now (Oct 2026) things are in flux. I bought 10 tadpoles in the spring and all/most turned into Green Frogs. There is at least one bullfrog as well. For a while there were two male frogs (Cade and Cale) in stable positions, plus two maybe female frogs, Megan and Megan. But it's getting colder, we have snakes in the pond, the frogs all move around...not really sure how many exist at the moment.
