155 days until the 2027 toad detour begins! From March to May, this screen will show weather forecasts and projected toad counts for the days when the weather is favorable.
Note: 2025 was a weird year - crossings were far fewer than expected. We are blaming the colder temperatures for the smaller toad turnouts. We do not know if fewer crossed, or whether we just missed them - perhaps crossing later in the evening.
In 2026, we had a few nights where the rain started late and we did not stay to count all the late crossers.
