Check out the cicada pictures and you can see the two compound eyes and the three other eyes. Notice how small the antenna are. If the antenna are small, the eyes are pretty good. If the antenna are long, not so much. Also in the gallery, the Brown marmorated stink bug, the Boxelder bug (one adult and lots of juveniles) and juvenile versions of the Spotted lanternfly.
