"Green Frog" seems like such a dumb name for a frog. "Northern Green Frog" is slightly better, I guess.

Notice the fold extending from behind the ear to just beyond halfway down the back. If this were a bullfrog, the fold would turn at the ear.

They have done very well in the pond from 10 tadpoles I bought. They bred in the first year evidently and dozens overwintered in 2022-2023. In 2023 we had green frogs everywhere! They mostly dispersed, but we have three "steadies" - "Dog", "Booger" and the smaller "Buzzsaw".
